Free light and sound show "son-et-lumiere" at Chandigarh

The Chandigarh Industrial & Tourism Development Corporation Limited (CITCO) has announced free weekend entertainment for residents & visitors to Chandigarh.
According to Mr. J.S. Bir, Managing Director, CITCO , Free entry to Sound & Light Show for 3 days i.e. from March 23 to 25 at Museum & Art Gallery Complex.
Sound & Light Show (Son-et-lumiere) has spectator gallery with seating capacity of 150 persons. The visitor should reach the venue 15 minutes before the show to see beautiful effects of the illuminated colourful fountain which shall start before the show. Adequate lights have been installed at the spectator gallery including the passage to the venue.
Free passes on first cum first serve basis shall be available during the forth-coming weekend at Museum & Art Gallery for the Sound & Light Show which would be of 45 minutes duration. For the facilitation of the visitors, all lights would be put on till the start of the show. Thereafter, all lights would be switched off to have better sound and visual effects of the show. Therefore, all visitors should reach the venue well before the start of the show to avoid any inconvenience. Sound & Light show has already been inaugurated March 18 by Gen. (Retd) S.F.Rodrigues, Governor of Punjab & Administrator, U.T. Chandigarh for promotion of tourism in Chandigarh and for development of Chandigarh as a tourist destination.
